In short
- You can use Rubin VPN for free, with no sign-up.
- You may not use the service for illegal activity, spam or attacks.
- The service is provided "as is": we work hard to keep it running, but we can't guarantee it always will.
1. General
These terms are an agreement between you and RUBIN VPN LLC, Republic of Armenia ("we", "us"), covering your use of the Rubin VPN app, our VPN servers and the rubinvpn.com website (together, the "Service").
By installing the app or using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
2. The service and free plan
Rubin VPN creates an encrypted connection between your device and our servers. No account is required.
- For the first 3 days after the app is first launched there are no limits.
- After that the Service stays free but works with a connection queue: one hour connected, then one hour of waiting. Turning the VPN off manually also starts the waiting period.
- The set of servers, their locations and availability may change.
3. Acceptable use
When using the Service you agree to comply with the laws of the country you are in. You may not use the Service to:
- commit, or help others commit, unlawful acts;
- send spam or bulk unsolicited messages;
- attack, scan or break into other networks, websites or devices, including DDoS attacks;
- distribute malware;
- distribute child sexual abuse material;
- infringe the rights of others, including copyright;
- put excessive load on the Service, including by registering many devices automatically, or otherwise interfere with it;
- resell access to the Service without our written consent.
If you break these rules, we may restrict or end access for the device.
4. App Store app
If you installed the app from the App Store, the license to the app itself is granted under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms supplement it with respect to the Service.
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service, its content or its support.
5. License and rights
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app on devices you own or control. The Rubin VPN name, logo and design belong to us.
The app includes open-source components, including amneziawg-apple (MIT License). They are distributed under their own licenses.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service running without interruption, but we do not guarantee constant availability, a particular speed, or access to particular websites through the VPN. We may carry out maintenance and change servers, features and free plan rules. We will announce significant changes on the website or in the app.
7. Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or loss of data.
A VPN protects your connection, but it does not make you fully anonymous and does not protect against malware, phishing or unsafe actions on websites.
These limitations do not apply where the law does not allow them.
8. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. How to delete data on our server is described in the Privacy Policy.
If we decide to shut down the Service, we will announce it on the website at least 30 days in advance.
9. Changes to these terms
A new version of these terms is published on this page with a new date. By continuing to use the Service after a change, you accept the new version.
These terms are published in Russian and English. If the versions differ, the Russian version prevails.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, unless the laws of your country give you stronger protection as a consumer. We will first try to resolve any dispute through support: support@rubinvpn.com.
