What is a VPN
A VPN is an encrypted tunnel between your device and a server. Your internet traffic goes through it, so anyone along the way - for example, whoever runs the public Wi-Fi at a cafe or airport - only sees encrypted data.

Privacy
What we store - and what we don't
A summary of our Privacy Policy. Retention periods and what our partners see are there too.
We store
- A random device identifier. It is created on your phone and is not linked to your name, email or phone number.
- The account and its 8-character ID - created when you tap "Get started", with no name or email.
- The App Store app identifier and the free trial start date - so that the 3 free days are given only once per Apple Account. They contain no Apple Account name or email.
- The access term and payment records - with no bank card details.
- The server connection key and a service link to the server settings. Our partner H1Cloud, which provides the servers, receives the key together with the access term and a random client name - but not your ID. What H1Cloud sees as the server operator is described in the Privacy Policy.
- Service records: first and last request dates, app version, a subscription transfer request (10 minutes; the code itself is not stored), past transfers, and changes to the access term or account blocks made by support.
- An IP address fingerprint - for no longer than 25 hours, only to protect the service from abuse. The address itself never reaches our database.
We don't store
- Websites you visit
- Traffic contents and DNS queries
- The time and duration of your connections
- Your routing settings - they stay on your phone
- Your name, email or phone number
- Bank card details and advertising identifiers
- Your location, contacts or photos
We do not sell data or share it for advertising. Partners that run parts of the service get only what they need to do their part.

One device - one account. Got a new phone? Move your paid time to it with the old phone's ID and a code shown on that phone.

- Request a codeSettings → "Transfer subscription": enter the old phone's ID and tap "Request code".
- Check the code on the old phoneOpen Rubin VPN there - a 6-digit code appears. It is valid for 10 minutes.
- Enter the code on the new phoneThe paid time moves there, and the old phone loses access.

How much does it cost?
The first 3 days are free, with no payment and no card. After that - Rubin VPN Plus: access to all servers for 30 days with a one-time payment in the app. The app shows the price before you pay.
Are there automatic charges?
No. Each payment is one-time, so there is nothing to cancel. When your access is about to end, pay again - the new days are added to the ones you have left.
Do I need to sign up?
No. No email, phone number or password is needed: tap "Get started" and the app creates an account for this phone by itself. Changed phones? Move the subscription with the ID and a code from the old phone: Settings → "Transfer subscription".
Do you keep a browsing history?
No. We don't store browsing history, traffic contents, DNS queries, or the time and duration of your connections. The full list of what we store is in our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my data?
Right in the app: Settings → Subscription → "Delete account". If you have already deleted the app, email support@rubinvpn.com and include your ID.
